NutritionFactsKit is installed
Show an FDA-style Nutrition Facts panel on your product pages — for food, drink and snack sellers. No code required.
- 1
Fill in a food product
Open a food product and scroll to Product metafields. The Nutrition fields are already there (created automatically). Fill in Nutrition serving size, servings per container and calories, then add one nutrient per line in Nutrition rows using
Open productsName|Amount|%DV— for exampleTotal Fat|8g|10%. Begin a line with two spaces to indent it as a sub-nutrient (e.g.Saturated Fat|1g|5%). Save. - 2
Add the block to the product template
In the theme editor, use the page selector at the top and choose Products › Default product. Click Add block and choose Nutrition Facts Panel. Save. Important: the block shows product data, so it must live on the product template — not the home page.
Open Theme Editor - 3
Check the product page
Open the product's page in your online store: the Nutrition Facts panel appears automatically. Products with no nutrition data show nothing — no empty panels on non-food products.
Row format
Each line of nf_rows and nf_vitamins is
Name|Amount|%DV. Leave the third part empty when there is no Daily Value (e.g. Protein|3g|).
Two leading spaces indent a line as a sub-nutrient. In nf_ingredients, wrap an allergen in
*asterisks* to print it in bold, as US labels do.

NutritionFactsKit helps you present nutrition information in the US FDA panel format (21 CFR 101.9); it is a display tool and not legal advice. Make sure the values you enter are correct for your products.
